Carper: Pray for the Crew Of the Space Shuttle Columbia

Wilmington, DE – Senator Tom Carper said the following today, when asked about the disappearance of the Space Shuttle Columbia: “It’s difficult to imagine the grief that this tragedy brings to the families of our astronauts and the Israeli astronaut who joined them on this mission. Our thoughts are with them. Our prayers are with them as well,” Carper said. The Senator said he was confident that a full investigation would begin immediately to determine what caused the tragedy.
