Senator Carper’s Schedule for Friday, July 2, 2004

Wilmington, DE – Senator Tom Carper will spend Friday, July 2, 2004, in New Castle County. The Senator will begin his day with a tour at Insteel Wire Products Company in New Castle. This 340,000 square foot site manufactures steel products and produces concrete reinforcing steel mesh. Insteel employs almost 70 Delawareans. Senator Carper’s next stop will be at Luther Towers II Senior Center where he will continue his statewide tour educating senior citizens about the new Medicare-Approved Prescription Drug Discount Card. The discount card became available on May 1, 2004, and went into effect on June 1, 2004.
