Sen. Carper Statement on President Signing Small Business Jobs Act Into Law

WASHINGTON, DC –Today Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.) released the following statement in response to the signing of the Small Business Jobs Act into law by President Obama: 

"I am happy the President signed this bipartisan bill into law," said Sen. Carper. "Now, thousands of entrepreneurs and small businesses in Delaware and the rest of the country that were struggling to survive during this recession have a helping hand to start and maintain businesses. Small businesses are essential to providing jobs and services in Delaware’s economy and the American economy. If we want our economy to continue to recover we have to help small businesses succeed.  These targeted tax and trade incentives should help bolster our struggling small businesses and ultimately that will help Delawareans and all Americans."
