Sen. Carper Seeking Applications for U.S. District Court for District of Delaware Judge

U.S. Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for consideration for the position of Judge of the United States District Court for District of Delaware. The objective of the EOI is to create a slate of qualified candidates for consideration for recommendation to the President.

Candidates are recommended to the President by the senior Member of Congress from the President’s political party in a state where the vacancy exists. The President will formally nominate an individual to the Senate for its advice and consent.

The EOI should include: 1) a letter of qualification; 2) a detailed curricula vitae; and, 3) the names of three references, 2 of which must be professional references. This information should be submitted as a package to the Senator’s Dover Office, 500 W. Loockerman Street, Suite #470, Dover, Del. 19901, to the attention of Lori James, State Director.
